The Acropolis is officially explored! So it is time to know the real side of Athens from the perspective of a local person.
The monument of day 3 would the National Historical Museum of Greece, at Stadiou street. The National Historical Museum, founded in 1882 by Prime Minister Charilaos Trikoupis, presents the modern greek history, beginning from the Fall of Constantinopole until World War II. A visitor of the museum, while wandering around, can understand the cultural and spiritual evolution of the Greek people, thus comprehending further some sociopolitical aspects. The place where the museum is housed used to be the Greek Parliament and you can admire the specific spot, where many turning points for the greek history were decided.
Do continue your walk at Panepistimiou street, in order to admire the monumental buildings of the National Library and the Academy of Greece. And, of course just one street above you will find the Law School of Athens, which is considered an Athenian landmark.
And it is time for the fun stuff. Eat your breakfast at the restaurant Philos at Solonos street, known for the cozy and rustic environment. There you will enjoy your brunch and coffee. But, as the day flows, you can sit at Perideza, for the first casual cocktail of the day. Don't hesitate to taste their pizza, their new specialty. I always encourage tourists to walk through the small neighbors of Athens, to get the vibe of the city, So, do walk around this area too. To end the day in the best possible way, hang at Drachmi bar and then The Bank Job to enjoy the 80s and 90s music vibe.

And that would be it! Stay tuned!
